SHARK WEEK HAS BEGUN!!!  CRACKER WITH HIS FIRST THRESHER, CAUGHT 7.5 MILES OFF

USING LIVE BUNKER AND CHUM….THE “SHE’S AT HOME” WAS ONLY ON THE WATER FOR ABOUT HALF AN

HOUR BEFORE THEY GOT HOOKED UP. THE SHARK JUMPED OUT OF THE WATER BEHIND THE BOAT

AND GAVE A GOOD FIGHT THAT LASTED AT LEAST AN HOUR WHICH GAVE CRACKER “RUBBER BAND” ARMS

THAT HE IS STILL COMPLAINING ABOUT TWO DAYS LATER. (C’MON…GROW A SET ALREADY)

HE SHOT THE SHARK HIMSELF WITH THE 12 GAUGE  AND HE GOT A NICE SPLASH IN THE FACE AND

A BIG ADRENALINE RUSH TO BOOT!

FISH WEIGHED ABOUT 175 LBS.

OBVIOUSLY TONI G’S IS NOT A SHARK FREE MARINA…WHOOPS!

Friday October 22, 2010

Anglers from Toni G’s that were fishing the early am hours landed some nice strippers, the biggest keeper was approximately 19lbs.

Sunday October 17, 2010

The Toni G took out Big Steve and friends who were the winners of a raffle that raised money for the Gina Marie Hemhauser Scholarship Fund.

The weather was great and the guys trolled along the beach and caught and released more blue fish than anyone could count.

October 11, 2010

The Toni G and the boyz from NY had another successful tuna trip.  Landing mutliple mahi and tuna. See photo’s from this trip in our gallery.

August 3, 2010

Although most anglers are reporting alot of fluke action, they are catching mostly shorts…

but Toni G’s own Dave D’atrio of Di-Fi Productions caught this monster fluke on Sundy out by the lighthouse.  This just shy of 22” fluke actually broke the rod….it was caught on a Gulp swimming mullet!

Great job Dave!   you are not only our webmaster you’re our flukemaster as well!

July 22, 2010

Another overnighter to the Hudson Canyon aboard the Toni G with LaFamina’s “new york boyz”….minus the espresso machine and cannoli’s (thanks tom…why you gotta be like that)

After Fishtales put out his special mix of spreader bars and lures he retired to the salon and Brody quickly switched it all up to ballyhoo

Despite rough seas the Toni G went three for four on yellowfin on the troll and two Mahi.

After the seas laid down they set up for the chunk and a red hot bite happened immediately

A nice sized yellowfin brought the new and improved Billie Mac to his knees in the corner of the cock pit (eat something will ya!)

As the sun came up the “new york boyz” managed to boat 8 yellowfin and snapped off or missed with the gaft another 8, plus 1 mako (the matter is under investigation)

Morning troll was 2 for 3 with seas building as the Toni G headed back to shore

check out the pictures in our photo gallery!

July 14, 2010

Toni G fished the Hudson Canyon…Weather and seas were good.

Crew:  Fishtales, Rob, Joey, Big Der, Gene and L Tim

Targeted yellowfin on the troll and at the end of the trip four nice sized fish brought back to the marina.

Set up for the night for shark and swords and after a short time the swordfish rod went off

and Rob OHara landed a 100lb swordfish.   See pictures in photo gallery.

June 2, 2010:

There was alot of mixed action this weekend starting with some nice stripers caught in the inlet while most anglers were returning home empty handed on Sunday.  Big Jim landed two nice ones aboard the “she’s at home”.

Dave Bocchino caught a nice sea bass while fishing the “lucky” at the tires reef.  However, it was reported that the captain was showing signs of frustration towards the end of the day.

The biggest news of the Memorial Day weekend was the first keeper fluke that we know of…caught aboard “Pigs Flew” out of Toni G’s Marina.  Megan Hill landed a nice one to earn her bragging rights over her younger brother (and dad) for quite some time to come.  The fluke was caught in the Bay between the BI and the BB on live bait and squid.

Check out pictures of the weekend catches in our Photo Gallery.

May 29…fluke opens

May 22…two nice size keepers caught on the She’s at Home while trolling with bunker spoons

April 18th…three monster blues caught by Captain Kevin aboard “Family Ties” on his first day of fishing this season on strech 25’s.

April 17th…three 20 pound plus stripers brought back to the dock Saturday afternoon.

Caught on live herring north of the inlet.

Anglers…D Bocchino and N MacNamara aboard the “She’s at Home”.
